OUR STORY
How We Started
Founded through a partnership between Swiss friends and Rwandans, AVC-Rwanda is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people by addressing poverty, child welfare, housing, skills development, and youth empowerment. Action for Vulnerable Communities (AVC-RWANDA) was founded to address the needs of the most vulnerable in our society. Over the years, we have grown from a small initiative into a trusted partner for communities in Nyamasheke and beyond. Our work is rooted in faith, compassion, and a deep commitment to sustainable development.

To empower vulnerable communities in Rwanda through capacity building, child development, housing rehabilitation, and youth support—enabling families to thrive with dignity and hope.
